Christmas time in London, and especially in the West End near Oxford Circus, means continuous swarms of tourists and shoppers.
Huge bags full of presents, confused faces reading maps of the city and of the Tube, and everyone rushing around like there is no tomorrow.
Definitely something I happily avoid.
Except at nightime, of course, when the Christmas decorations express their full magic...

Complimenti Alberto nel realizzare questa foto dal grande risultato grafico e dai bellissimi toni blu di prevalenza.

qualche piccola sovraesposizione ma č normale in un contesto in cui c'č tanta luce.

what an interesting perspective view :) These arches look like a fantastic beautiful corridor along which we have to pass to get into a fairy-tale or just another - beautiful and unknown - realm!
Best wishes of a Happy Christmas to you!!

good light management here. The blue colour pallete is perfect for conveying the cold, icyiness of a winter's night.Good composition with one arch framing another, then another..

Yes, it's absolutely magical! I wish I could walk under those superb arches of lights especially with no people around:)) Great new year scene bringing in a happy festive mood. Thanks and best wishes to you for the forthcoming 2012!
