Photographer’s Note
I was staying in Walthamstow in East London with a friend. On one of my wanders around the area I ended up in The Cock, for a break. I spent all my time there discussing with this cheeky old lady about The Sun. I should have returned there the day after. I like the character of the East of London. First time that being in that city I feel that I meet people that were born in the place where they live.

Hi Joni!
Great moment to take a picture! Perfect contrast of generations, the old woman and the girl in the photo of the newspaper.
Good choice of B&W with a perfect composition. Although i would like to see the color picture too if it exists!
Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
Pedro

I'm not sure what to think here. I like the tones...your exposure seems spot on but there is a lack of pop. Well, I hate the word "pop", but in reference to photos (especially B&W) I feel that it is necessary. Maybe what I'm missing is that glow so familiar in those photos of the accomplished photographers we read about. It could be different looking at an actual print as opposed to a digital reproduction of a print (or scan). I also would have liked to see the bright lines of light cover more of the phtoograph...in this particular frame the stripes are not evident enough to have a substantial impact.
Regards,
Chris.

Total orgasm...
Beauty of the Ilford, with the mechanism of Asahi, with the heart and guts of someone who feels the blues...
Not a slightest doubt in my mind...
Another spasmic shot...
