I saw this side of some flats in London, where you can see the ugly meter boxes.
So someone has taken it upon them selves to brighten it up with the sea scene, with a guy surfing the waves towards a galleon ship.
What a improvement.

Very good idea,to get rid of those uglu meterboxes on the most eyecacthing parts of our houses !
But the wallpaint is really mastery. A good sample of contemporary Street art.

Good evening Iain,
A fabulous blue and orange tones painted masterfully.
The boat on right is a superb element painted, and the whole giving the "ugly meter boxes" a diff. perspective and with fine texture.

I love your shot because it does not lack originality. The colors are natural.
Thank you for sharing and good weekend.

Amazing indeed how a little paint, cleverly applied can change the appearance of a mundane building. The meters are really well hidden in this scene. Very well observed.
have a great day

Lep pogled na zid sa mernim instrumentima i muralom ...
Dobar trenutak snimka i kontrast, lepo pokazan mural, lepe boje.
Imajte lep dan za odmor, sve najbolje.

Good time recording and contrast nicely demonstrated mural, beautiful colors.
Have a nice day to relax, all the best.

Londons seems to be a true paradise for the street artist, so many of your posts feature the most amazing artwork, and ones that are used in very inventive ways. This is such a brilliant watch to disguise what would otherwise be a really ugly wall, but here is transformed into a gallery. Nice combination of the modern surfer and the old ship too. Very cool.
Thanks as always
P.S. best of luck with the house hunting, when I bought mine 10 years ago, it all went wrong too and I ended up with nothing bought when mine was sold because of the owners of my new house pulling out after 9months negotiations. Can be so frustrating! Hope all goes well.

can't help but agree, meter boxes do tend to be rather ugly and are very well camouflaged here. I wonder if the meter reader has any problem finding them:-) I like the light and vivid colours. Very good clarity.
Good luck with the house hunting. I have to say I find the whole moving process very stressful and am always glad when it's all over. Are you looking to move locally or further away?

love this! What a super way to disguise these boxes, would love mine covered like this if they were outside rather than squirreled away in my hall cupboard! Street art gets a lot of bad press but this is just wonderful. Captured and presented gloriously, well done!
Enjoy your Sunday - B.

Une idée génial, tellement bien réaliser, par sa composition et ces couleurs, les boxes sont joliment bien camoufler, un vrai travail d'artiste

Enjoy and like this creative capture, waves in blue to change and hide the metter boxes, not artistic at all
Good picture , a ship and a boy surfing, truly street art
