At Hyde Park on a bitter cold, rainy sunday, Rinie and I stopped for a well deserved café. But you know how TErs are, they just can´t help themselves looking around...
pp: turned to b&w, messed around - as usual - with levels and curves and sharpen tools and probably some other little stuff.
Thanks a lot for your comments on my photos.
Suggestions welcome :)

Oh this is exquisitely moody, Isabel! The black and white is brilliant here, and so is this formal, stiff, relentlessly alienating composition...it sends a chill of silence down one's spine.

Very suggerent photo. The couple watching the nature, the man reflected over the glass, the pigeons,... the black and white.
Very nice and suggerent.

Excelent mood that you have captured here. The couple seems completely engrossed and unaware of what's happening behind them (both the pigeons and you i mean :)

A very high key shot, Isabel! The contrast works splendid with the B&W, with very good composition with the pigeons on the table and the gentelman on the right and his wife (?). Very appealing compo!

Good observation for this scene from the café, Isabel. Interesting to see the old couple enjoying the view of the park, while the pigeons seem to be feasting away on the remains of their snack. Nice mood that is well accentuated in the b&w treatment.

BOnita composição e cena muito bem registada. O casal descontrai-se enquanto os pombos fazem um festim com o resto de "chá das 5". Tons B/W bem escolhidos, embora fique com um aspecto um pouco melancólico.

Very nice catch, Isabel!
Ha-ha-ha, can't believe the pigeons - these seem to be so tame. And look how many of them are there on this tiny table!?!
The man's reflection overlapin his wife is wonderful,

Well there we are, when true inspiration behind the lens meets an uncanny intelligence...add to the mix a keen literary sense and you've got "of man, woman and pigeons" perhaps the mst beautiful title ever on TE... This is so close in spirit to Animesh's best work. Damn this is good.
It looks like a world where the domination of humans is over an they hover in front of the lawn like ghsosts while the new masters, birds, peck away at whatever's left.

I have no suggestions for improvement, you master your way of "messing around" to perfection ;o) I agree with Francis, this is DAMN GOOD! Even though you a so shy with shooting people, they are always present in your pictures, and they somehow show your shyness, you get them when they least expect it and treat them with the utmost respect, your style is really unique, because usually one would miss the connection with you topics or their coorporation, but that's not the way you do it, you place them so delicately in the frame, and make amazing pictures.
GO Isabel! :o)

Uma beleza de composição, com fortes elementos constitutivos, como aliás é sua assinatura. A opção pelo P&B ficou excelente.
