London at the height of the tourist season and Thames riverboats are lining up at the Tower Millennium Pier to offload passengers wanting to visit the famous Tower. The entrance is on the lower right in this image, but what is surprising, is the number of new cranes surrounding the area and the way that tall buildings are now beginning to crowd in around the Tower of London.

I can't think of many of your photos that have looked more like paintings!
It is beautifully composed with such a natural movement across the frame.
I do take your point! The Tower and the old buildings nearby are completely dwarfed and almost swallowed up by the new developments. If care isn't taken, the sights that people flock to London to see, will no longer be visible!!
Have a lovely day,

I don't know what processing you have used but it is quite effective. While it looks a little like an illustration rather than a photo it seems to depict reality better than what you would get from a straight photo.I love the tremendous detail throughout including that fantastic sky. Keep pushing the boundaries. Top image.

A splendid composition that has all the allure of an oil painting; don't know how you did it but it's wonderful. The eclectic mix of background architecture makes a superb backdrop for the colourful riverboats. Excellent stuff!!

Impressive, a composition that illustrates the power of that modern city built on the old imperial foundation.
Well taken, have a good week ahead.

The scene he is beautiful and I agree with comments above, it does seem like a very vivid illustration. Amazing skyline view of London showing a completely new view of one of the worlds greatest cities. What I find really surprising here is that it appears the is a very tall red brick haunted house peeping out over the top of the modern glass block in the foreground. The colors of the boats is a true compliment to the many blues of the buildings and the sky. Class pic, thanks again.

Cette concentration d'immeubles modernes est impressionnante. Très bonne composition avec les bateaux en premier plan. Peut-être une petite dominante jaune mais qui donne son charme à l'image.
