The skyscraper in the background is One Canada Square, one of the iconic landmarks in Canary Wharf. With its 235 metres above ground level, between 1990 and 2010 it was the tallest building in the United Kingdom (it was then surpassed by The Shard).
Here is how you see its western side through the glass dome of the mall at its bottom, on one of those rare days when London wakes up with a perfectly clear sky!

Ciao e buon fine settimana

Nice geometric composition. Well done.

this is a great, but dangerous perspective: It reminds me very much of the POV of a German Heinkel He 111 pilot through his aircraft's glass nose when trying to bomb London during WW II. No more bombs on UK, please!

Beautiful view. I have never seen this angle on Canary Wharf, even though I have seen so many shots of it, and this is a unique and creative vision. The perfect symmetry of the entire capture afforded by the tower and the ribs of the glass dome is really pleasing. As is that wonderful blue sky too. The light is falling perfectly on the skyscraper to make this shot really delightful.
Thanks for sharing.

cette photo est magnifique, très bonne combinaison entre la construction de verre et la transparence.
Le résultat est superbe, bon graphisme

Great architectural study this! Really like your POV which gave you a superb opportunity to photograph the building through the glass construction. Excellent visual effect was achieved. TFS!

You've created something really impressive at the intersection of these two buildings, Alberto. I've never found One Canada to be a very inspiring piece of architecture, but seeing it through these windows, recombined into different geometric shapes, does wonders for it. Well conceived and executed.

love this! A superb mixture of lines, composed and executed perfectly. The symmetry and perspectives here are enticing as is your management of the light. It makes for a classy and beautiful image of man's industry. Immaculate work.
Enjoy your Sunday - B.

I love what can be done with modern architecture. This glass dome is great for enjoying the building beside it, and I like the POV looking up. I also like that the dome fills the entire frame, and you luckily captured a beautiful, blue sky. All of the windows and lines are great, too.

The POV you chose with this glass dome in the FG is very original and very graphical. Good symetry, good exposure, good sharpness.
Have a nice week end,
