London, view from Thames south bank Tate Gallery upper floor bar towards Saint Paul's Cathedral. The Foster millennium pedestrian bridge on the right side. What struck me in this picture afterwards was that the backscene almost looked like painted on canvas. Very strange effect.

hi tony. the idea and potential beauty of this photo is great. indeed the london skyline looks like painted on canvas, thanks to your viewers. i wanted to enhance it with some tools and made a WS for you. i hope you don't mind.

I like your idea for the composition and I like both versions of the colour rendition. I also liked reading about what Deniz had done to transform your image. Great learnings to be had. Different softwares obviously have different names for the adjustment controls.

A very familiar scene for me: I've taken students to the Tate on many occasions. I rather like the effect that you refer to in your notes. Could it be the result of shooting through glass maybe?

Indeed the vertical line is exactly a painting line, I have looked to the WS Deniz has this very well done in WS picture.
I like the two silhouette's of then heads in foreground as contrast.
A nice composition, soft of colours, excellent presentation.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,

this is a nice photo with a beautiful background that has a graphic feel to it, though I find it a bit washed out due to excessive post-processing. What I don't like is those dirty streaks on the window pane that can be easily cloned out cuz they're pretty distracting and spoil the scene. Otherwise a lovely compo.

The unusual thing is that you includes a couple in your picture. They are so dark, almost silhouettes. So, this photo is very unique.
