For Lou Reed - please leave no points for this image. I just wanted to dedicate an image to someone who exemplified an original and creative spirit that inspired me in so many ways during the course of my life in relation to music, poetry and art but also photography.
For Lou - a giant amongst creative people everywhere. Your wait for the man is over. God bless you.

A really thoughtful memento.
I hadn't heard much about him recently but, from the newspaper reports, he was still very much in the public eye.
A sad loss to music!

thoughtful and fitting tribute to another addition to heaven's super group.
The legendary artists of yesteryear are getting fewer and fewer - but we still have their rich tapestry of musical influence to draw upon.
Regards - Brian
Can I just say a big thank you to all who were concerned about us southern Englanders during the recent coming of St Jude (the storm). Despite being a bit scary with the wind howling around the house sounding like an approaching train; thankfully I survived as did the huge tree that sits outside my property. B.

A stunning dedication to the great man. Love the tight framing and the accentuated grain. The strong saturation works for me to. I can't think of a nicer way to commemorate Mr Reed than this. What a talent he was. It bemuses (and irks) me to think that despite putting 40 years of his life, talent and passion into the music that he loved, the man made less than those no-talent wannabes One Direction have in the year they've been assaulting us with their idea music. Big groan! Anyway, thanks for providing a spot of joy in the face of the sad news of this great man's passing.

This sad news came to my ears from radio of my car. They told about his life, played two songs... R.I.P., Lou...
Thanks, Mike for this post.

A great tribute. He was a hero in my lifetime too.
You ask for no points but i give them anyhow. Dont be offended but your picture deserves it. It captures what i feel. A man with a guitar, a rough edge and great music.
