Sunset at Westminster. I think this is the bridge to Waterloo behind me? As sunsets go it was subtle anD not spectacular, but I did like the reflection off the bridge rail guard and Big Ben in the background, an icon of the UK.

It is in fact Westminster Bridge; with so many bridges in London it is easy to get confused. Never mind, I like the composition, which takes full advantage of the three vertical structures. Also, the pleasant evening light and the way it fall along the balustrade. The people bring the scene to life. Very good colours and sharpness.

This is bringing me back to when I visited the same place in September 2011. It is a busy area with a lot of tourists and local resident. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of Big Ben tower. Have a nice dya.

Ciao e buon fine settimana

The light is just lovely and I agree that the reflections on the bridge rail are superb. The old lamp makes this composition for me as it is very well placed beside the tower, and its beauty competes with the tower of Big Ben. A great London shot.
Kind Regards, Ann

classic shot of London, when I was here there was no sunset to speak of. It was cloudy and drizzly the whole time. Everything was in gray scale.
There sunset light is wonderful here with the few people enjoying the view and walking on the bridge adds liveliness to the scene.

I think I like this subtle sunset. Yes, most sunsets are really colorful and with a little boosting of saturation, we get almost surreal images. Been there, done that! However, there is a certain charm to the subdued tones of the sunset in this photo. I like the reflections from the sunset that are present in this picture without drawing attention to the sunset itself, I think it's a neat effect.
PS. Methinks the picture is leaning to the left ever so slightly, by about 1.2°.
PPS. It might be getting a little bit late for Bodrum but if you want to visit Antalya, about now may be the best time. In the summer I think it's just plain too hot. The temperatures in the spring and fall are much better to my liking. However, in the spring the Mediterranean has not warmed up yet whereas in the fall, the Mediterranean retains its warmth from the summer and it's just lovely.

I like very much the way you captured the last ray of sunset reflecting on the railing and the lamp post. Your composition and presentation of such a familiar theme are fine and delightful, you've rendered superb perspectives that guide our glance all over the scenery very effectively. You've captured great details and nice moody tones and atmosphere. The people must be feeling weary and romantic at this hour. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely evening,
