Rainshine, a photo from London, England

Photographer's Note

London is a great city, and when it comes to the weather it's seemingly always sunny and raining at the same time. Walking towards the Tower Bridge this particular morning I thought really encompassed just that sentiment with the raindrops sitting on the railings from a storm that had just passed and the skies parting clouds making way for the sun to shine through, if only for a brief amount of time.

Hi Jason,
Even on a rainey day and low light conditions - the famouse bridge always shown with it's grandeur.
Great POV to enhance it's hight, and the blue lamp-posts and big chains are notable in good contrast.
Nice golden crown atop.

I agree with you about the weather.. also,the most dramatic sky I have seen in the world.. sometimes part of the sky is so dark, and the other part is full of sun shine..great photo opportunity.. but I always has no camera:-D..
Beautifully composed image.. I have never been on the bridge.. I thought it was a view in Europe.very beautiful indeed. Love the blue colour,,,

I like your composition in vertical format and also your well chosen viewpoint. You have perfectly placed the street lights in front of tower bridge structures without disturbing it.. I like it. Have a nice weekend.

Great idea about including the street lamps to lead the eye towards the bridge and tower. Typical London weather that gives an interesting sky.
I would have gone for a tighter crop though, see in my little workshop what I mean.

Very unique POV on this fine structure, great idea to include the blue lamppost for perspective and depth.

The sky also suits perfectly with your title, I know that rain shine you mention, we get it Ireland (when we are lucky and its not just raining!!). Great colours and tones in the sky.
