Photographer’s Note
after this little concert "à 4 mains" in the church of the academy of St martin in the fields, lett me take you to the tate modern.. This brand new museum was established in a former powerplant... It is facing St Paul's cathedral and a nice bridge called the millemium bridge takes you to the other side of the thames... I took this photo as we came out of it to visit the Robert Franck photography exhibition... I like to tilt my photos sometimes to add dynamism to a shot.. Some will probably find it disturbing though;-)) hahaha!

I'm not sure why but the tilt works well here as does the 'wobbly bridge' running at the height of the line of buildings behind.
A few weeks ago there was an amazing sunset here and the river reflected it with a beautiful pink colour. Sadly I didn't have my camera with me at the time.
The Robert Frank exhibition at the Tate is good but very large - it took about 3 hours for me to get round!

Bien vu

When I was there I wasn't allowed to cross that bridge; too unsafe at the time (07-2000).
The tilt doesn't bother me-- what does bother me a bit is that the bridge is somewhat lost in the otherwise gorgeous detail of the river bank buildings. Lots of great landmarks (except that actual Tate Modern! :) ).
What is good though is that this isn't the usual cliche shot looking down the bridge towards either St. Pauls or the Tate depending on which bank you're standing on. Your London expedition is shaping up quite nicely.

Tu l'as prise côté Tate Modern ?

Bravo
