The Horse Guard, a photo from London, England

Photographer's Note

The young man in the picture is one of the "Horse Guards" of London.

Horse Guards stands were originally there was the main entrance of Buckingham Palace, on the site of Henry VIII's tournament ground or "tiltyard".

I proposed this picture because of the high contrast between the hardness and the imposing strength of the uniform and the gentleness and cleanliness of the young man features.

I think the results is gorgeous and powerfull.

Hello Luca,
A wonderful portrait in red and black with the shades of the coat just visible, and so well isolated against the black background. Just the final touch of sharpness could be improved ?
