The Limehouse Basin marina and housing development that was built upon the old docks that operated here until the late 1960's. Located to the east of the City of London the marina connects the River Lee (via the Limehouse Cut) and the Regents Canal to the Thames, hence the presence of the long narrow boats in the foreground. The towers of the buildings at Canary Wharf can be seen in the background as they loom large over the marina.

The nicely illuminated architecture in its various guises makes a very interesting backdrop for the colourful barges. Superb colours and sharpness.

How this area has changed! The colourful narrow boats make an impressive FG for the new houses and towers of Canary Wharf. Beautifully produced in your recognisable style.
Kind Regards, Ann

Another beauty, the colors of the barges in the foreground is a really magical additn to the murky clouds and the futuristic skyline of the city. You really have captured some magical shots from around London, thanks for sharing them with us and showing this great metropolis in a new and cool way.

Beautiful and attractive picture!
Saturated colors are a real highlight in this one!
Exposure, sharpness, chosen pov and composition are excellent too!]
Many architectural details that are so nice!
I remember when I visited London I was impressed by all the architectural styles that city has and that makes it no boring at all (one of the factors for that, of course)!
