Traveling between Airport terminals can be one of most stressful parts of any journey, people pass one another without a single glance, rushing here, rushing there...
The light was far from good, and as I had to hand hold the camera with the tripod tucked inside the luggage, the ISO was cranked up which probably accounts for the noise, sorry about that.

Brings back memories of my recent trip to Thailand:-) I like the long perspective and the presence of the two people on the right. Black and white was a good choice, I don't mind the grain, it contributes to the atmosphere of the shot.

Une bonne prise de vue, avec de superbes lignes de perspective.
Bonne exécution N&B, avec les deux voyageurs sur la droite.
Il y a également de bons effets de reflets sur les parois.

You have turned something boring and rather unatractive, into a beatiful, graphical image. Well done!

un ottimo bianco e nero, splendidamente composto con le linee che convergono verso l'orizzonte e la presenza umana che lo ravviva.
Ottima la gestione del contrasto. Una foto di gran classe che mi auguro venga apprezzata nella giusta misura.
Ciao e buon fine settimana

Good perspective and grey mood, and I like the subtle reflections of the pedestrians on the walls.

God, how I hate airports! Horrid soulless places where one is either rushing like crazy and totally stressed or waiting uncomfortably and bored stiff for hours on end.
But this is a fine picture with fabulous perspective and some lovely strong lines of composition. And remarkably sharp too considering a 1/10 second exposure handheld! Good exposure and contrasts considering the very poor lighting and remarkably good details.

Hello Leslie - You have done a great job here, the B&W conversion adds to the atmosphere which, to my mind, shows the impersonal and transitory nature of time spent in an airport really well. I love the lines of perspective and the reflected figures. An unusual shot from you but a very successful one! Warm regards Rosemary

It always amazes me how parts of Heathrow can seem deserted. I think the quality is excellent and the grain gives a wonderful b/w 'photographic' appearance. I think that the two people walking towards you are critical for the compostion. Super work.
Kind Regards, Ann

this is where the wide angle lens comes in hand doesn't it. I like how the people seem far away, but i bet in reality they are not so far.
and its a good choice to have it in monochrome too.
different! I like it
see you around
