Photographer’s Note

It was a rainy day in Hyde Park, thus suprisingly quiet for a Sunday morning.
I leaned the camera against a lamp post for stability.

Very nice symmetry and colours. I think that the large bit of foreground in front of the camera would provide a nice pattern if it was more in focus, Iwonder if then it might work if you cropped the photo horizontally just below the benches?

This is a really well composed photo I think. The colour just screams "Autumn" doesn't it?? However, maybe it would be worth straightening the horizon and sharpening a bit. Really beautiful!

Wow...for a rainy day you have succeeded in composing a day of fall warmth and splendor along that arched corridor of mature trees.Well done Dan.I have added it to my Autumn Colours theme.

Great colors. I like the composition of the upper 2/3 - I agree with timmiles to crop the bottom third just up to where the trees begin.

Beautiful image, very moody...
I wish the symmetry had been even stronger by getting the lamp precisely in the middle.
I too would have liked a crop of the bottom to make the composition more in balance but maybe a bit less tight as suggested before.
(Just tryed a WS to illustrate my words...)

Very nicely done, you can alter it anywhichway but and make it slightly different but better? Seems OK to me just as it is. I like the damp but comforting feel to it.

I LOVE IT! Dan you are an artist this is Amazing!! Very very well done, I love your POV, and your composition, the DOF is wonderfull, the colours are amazing i just can't stop rambling! I love it the lighting is great, I am adding this shot to my best of autumn theme and as one of my personal favourites it's truely GREAT!
