Photographer’s Note
I was going down and looking back at the top of the esaclator in the London Tube. I think the underground is a great place to take pictures, and I've seen many of them on TE that really appealed to me. Being a country boy myself, I'm always very impressed to go so deep down underneath London to travel with the tube. It almost feels like travelling to the centre of the earth!

This image from the notorious underground genre is quite powerful and as far as I am concerned quite original. It has a certain 'snapshot' quality to it. As if you just realized that the scene was set! It is not precisely focussed, but here I think it adds to the atmosphere. Some noise disturbs the overall impression though.

Very attractive picture! I like your framing and I admire the way you succeeded in giving the idea of space in the underground.
Well done Djib!...

I love this. though, I would like it better without the people. I think they allow to viewer to figure out what it is. I'd rather not know.

I've mentioned a few times already that I really like shots taken in subway stations. This is great. I've looked this way myself a few times, but I never throught of getting a shot of it. I really like the angle plus all the lines and shapes. The people are a nice touch as they give a bit of humanity to the shot. Very good work!

Great photo! I love the point of view, it makes our eyes slide from left to right. I agree with gringofil that the peoples are a nice addition especially since they are all at the far right. What is the pink box behind them?
Beau travail!

Nice POV of this subway structure. About the crop, I think if you'd crop the bottom to put the people in the lower right third of the image the composition could be much stronger.
Made a WS.

Great shot. Really like the perspective! It has a special interest for me as I am about to return to live in London after being back in NZ for the last 2 years

Ah, I remember being on this escalator :) Very nice shot, interesting angle, it really does give the impression as if you were on your way to the centre of eart, like you said.
