Breath-taking light here, and you could not ask for a more perfect moment to capture this image. This is a fantastic picture. I love church interiors too, but never see moments quite like this. Fantastic timing and clarity, thanks for sharing!

Hello Jasmine,

This is another of your lovely "church interior" shots and its very well seen and taken too. You really are very good at taking such shots in very difficult lighting conditions!

The very dark background with its simple curving arches makes a lovely background against which Christ on the Cross stands out beautifully, illuminated by some lovely light, presumably from a nearby window.

Your exposure is perfect, the colours true and the details and sharpness exquisite, particularly considering that this was taken at 1/20 second.

Fantastic photo taken inside of the church of St. Mary in Stamford.
I really hate to see the works of Christian holy sites, and how to photograph them.
That is not easy without flash and tripod.
Excellent work, pleasant to the eye, perfect quality.
