Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you will indulge me and be happy to look at more photographs of the blue carpet of English bluebells. This scene only happens for a few weeks each year and it seems mean to only show one photograph of their beauty. (For information about the wood, please see my previous post.)


When I mention English bluebells, that is because they are the native plant. There is another bluebell which is called the Spanish bluebell. This has been sold at nurseries and so can be seen in many gardens.

The English bluebell bears all its bells on one side of the stem whilst the Spanish bluebell bears them on both sides.
