Good Morning Everyone,

This is a shot taken at Silverdale, looking across Morecambe Bay, to what is probably Grange, in the far distance.

As you can see, the tide goes out a long way, leaving vast stretches of wet, rippled sand.

Because this is a westerly facing beach, at this time of the day, to capture the wet sand, the shots have to be contre jour.

I liked the effect in black and white since the natural colours were very limited. I will add the colour version as a w/s.
