Good Morning Everyone,
Whilst walking along the shore at Silverdale we were surprised to see this baby rabbit sunning itself on the edge of the rocks.
Though I didn't have my telephoto lens with me, I took a photograph, then moved slowly forwards, taking another shot. I did this three times, to see how close I could get before the rabbit took fright.
In a moment, it was gone, and all we could see were two bright eyes peeping from under the overhanging rocks.
Was the baby brave of foolish!
I suspect it has a lot to learn about safety if it wants to grow up to become a big bunny!
Have a lovely day,

A very nice little rabbit! A very sharp and detailed capture. It is perfectly camouflaged in this stony surroundings. The green nettles add some good colours to the picture.

you did ever so well to use your stalking skills in getting so close!I guess this little bunny has yet to learn the harsh lessons yet that might befall it.
Captured in it`s environment it`s a charming Natural history shot.
Kind regards Les.

What a charming capture of this young bunny. You were lucky to get so close I think. Perfectly framed and pin sharp.

seen at lot of these little fellows on my trips into the woods recently, and the younger ones are much less afraid of humans. This little one is so cute too!

Maybe it was a home tamed rabbit, Beverly...
Some animals are so innocently behave, not being aware that the most dangerous animal is the human, not refering about you of course. Nice taken a very close range picture of the happy looking rabbit.
By the way, it happened other way with birds - they regard a camea as a sort of a shot-gun, aimed at them.

This cute and furry animal is definitely not a pet, so it is perfectly qualified for TE. What a nice experience to meet a wild animal in this way and to be able to get a shot from so close. It's a very charming photo, technically perfect and with a nice natural environment.

Ciao cara Beverley
Ciao e buona serata
