I think, this is a look out station ensuring safety over Morecambe Bay.
This area is notorious with it's shifting quick sand areas, and over recent years numerous people have lost their lives picking cockles.
the shot reminds me of the look out station in the TV series 'Bay Watch'.

I think that the pano format works very well on this occasion with the silhouetted building nicely placed in the composition to balance the scene.
The late evening colours are very well recorded.Lovely shot.
Best regards Les.

Stunning warm vs cold colour contrasts between the orange red sunset skies, and the blue sea and upper blue sky. Good silhouettes and sharpness & I like the wide angled, panoramic crop. Well composed using the rule of thirds. Nice shadow detail too despite the low light levels. Tfs!

I never watched Baywatch, but I'm familiar enough with the previews to know that's a good reference...this picture does have that look and feel, even if it is sunset. So, where are the attractive bodyguards running in slow motion? :)
Love the red color in the sky along the horizon, it gives everything added impact to the relatively minimal setting. As a fan of silhouettes, this certainly grabs my attention as well...and I like the panoramic cut which feels to emphasize that feature. A pleasing mood set by natures beauty. Nicely done! Have a great day ahead.
All the best,

WOW! This is a splendid sunset picture!
I like the long red stretch between the blue sky and the blue clouds just above the horizon while the silhouette of the lookout platform makes an attractive foreground.
I never expected to find quicksand areas in the UK, even not in Europe ... The idyllic picture gets a dangerous touch.
Best regards, Paul
