I took this shot last night, but nearly missed it. i left the lodge we are staying in a bit too late.
i noticed this ramp the day before and remembered that sunsets are more vivid in the west so made an effort to photograph it.
the ramp is located opposite the town hall on the front at Morecambe.
The intention of the shot was to capture the sunset being reflected off the wet sand adding another dymanic to the shot.
Hope you enjoy the posting.

A great shot! Love the colours and the framing of it. The layers from dark in the FG to light in the BG give it depth and that orange glow is fantastic. Well done.

Fantastic colors… I was counting the shades of red and blue. I liked the ambiance. May I suggest a little crop from the bottom (only the completely black part)? Overall it’s a lovely capture.

Superb graphism with wonderful saturated sunset colors of red and magenta that contrast so well against the blue sea nad upper sky. Marvellous graphism with excellent silhouettes and sharpness. The fg post at right links the 2 halves of the image together. Tfs!
