Photographer’s Note
On the way back from the coast to my home in Lancaster I saw this line of pylons marching its way across the fields.
There are many cities and large towns in the North of England and hence a huge demand for electricity. On the coast where these pylons orginate is a large gas fired power station which supplies the needs of Lancaster city and beyond.
To my eye these pylons looked like an army of invading robots coming up over the hill.

A fine POV that gave a strong sense of a marching armada of pylons. Nice clean green and blue surrounding, not a distraction in sight.
Sharpening on objects like these is a tough one and you got some haloes. Have you seen the thread on two step sharpening in the Tips-Technique thread. I think it was started by Luko.

Hi Richard,
I see it the same way you do. Something a bit Pink Floyd about it too, like the marching hammers from the Wall.
Well spotted,
Adrian

I like your point of view and how the green hill forms a horizon. You could try to brighten the hills and add some contrast to the sky to make it look a bit more dramatic. I messed around with the image in PS, however the sharpining halos just get plain ugly when doing it with this one.
