Over took this restored diesel engine on the M61 being transported to railway museum. Drove to the next service station and crossed over to the other side of the motorway so I could get a shot in.

Your effort paid off, you got a very nice shot of a very interesting sight. I am surprised a truck (or should I call it an articulated lorry?) can transport a railroad engine.

I my hometown is a very nice train museum with almost all steam trains.
Everyday between May 1 and October 1 drive these old train for tourists
Excellent perspective and depth picture.
A nice composition, lovely presentation too.

Being a transport nut, this is right up my street, Arnie.
I've seen loco road haulage, so I'm not as surprised as previous members comments would suggest.
It isn't the most spectacular locomotive, granted it looks in immaculate condition, but that is a beauty of a Scania pulling it.
