Photographer’s Note

Well, there certainly has been plenty of snow around the U.K. the past few days-my part of the country has had only a little in comparison to other areas.

This photo was taken up on the Pennines in Lancashire today and shows Jubilee tower on the hill in the distance, with one of the many tracks you can take to reach it.

Hi David, welcome back! And this is a really delightful scene, full of interest. The strong perspective created by the road & the tyre tracks really pull you into the shot - then the fine row of pine trees subtly reflected in the water. I like the light dusting of snow - we have had it by the bucket load down south.
