Photographer’s Note
This is a detail of just one of the thousands of lights that make up the world famous 'Blackpool illuminations' in the north-west of England.
Many different styles are used for the lights, from the humourous to this kind of art nouveau effect, which resembles a stained glass window.
Regards, David.

Hello David
Most viewers will assume this is stained glass so perhaps without the context of your last posting some interest is lost. However the panel is very attractive in its own right, and very well caught - clear and with no distortion even though you must have been looking upwards at quite close range.
Best wishes Maggie

Hi David, your shot has really brought out the detail and colours perfectly. And brought to our attention something that may well have not been given a second glance. I don't know if the tiny lights in the corners add anything - a more symmetrical crop may look better. Good work, TFS, Roberto
