Photographer’s Note

Back again, a few days break, and a trip to Blackpool, the number one resort (arguably) in the UK, it is on the North West coast of England, and is visited each year by millions of pleasure seekers.

This is one of many rides on the pleasure beach, a huge amusement park, this shoots the riders up at a fantastic speed, then stops virtually instantly almost 200 feet up, it's an amazing experience, the G-forces are incredible.

It would have been cool to take a pic during the take-off to see all those faces stretched!!! It looks like the boy in the second seat did not enjoy totally his ride!

Nice photo-opportunity, Mike. But what this photo boils down to, IMHO, are 2 things: the legs dangling in the air and the faces full of fear of the impeding doom. If so, there is a lot of freedom for cropping to do here. Or perhaps you should have taken the ride yourself with your camera firmly strapped to your neck? Photographing the faces filled with fun/terror can't be done close enough ;)

nice shot, we have the same ride in mtl, but its name is the orbite, i really like it.. héhéh! I like the face expressions! It's really nice!
