Photographer's Note

Hello Everyone,

This is a further posting showing a scene along the banks of the Leeds to Liverpool Canal.

This shows one of the many bridges which spans the canal close to the locks at Barrowford. It is edged with white to enable the navigators to be aware of it in dull weather.

In the foreground can be seen one of the many narrowboats which sail along the canal. Some of these narrowboats are permanent homes, some are holiday homes and some are hired out by companies to visitors for short holidays.

Click here to access an Internet link which will tell you more about the canal and narrowboats.

Many thanks for stopping by.
I hope you found it interesting.
Please feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of the photograph.
Bev :-)
