Photographer’s Note
Papagolfade in Featherland in Alvaraalto-style.
Tenterden, Kent, England is a small town which was a centre of the weaving industry for many years and consequently in the fifteen century became a very prosperous area.
St Mildred's church is in the main part of the Tenterden. The church dates from the 12th century, and was progressively enlarged until 1461, when the distinctive tower was constructed. It was one of the churches in the 1588 system of warning beacons.
The church, is despite a heavy-handed restoration by G.M. Hills in 1864 still much of interest.
You can buy this mirror in one of the shops in Tenterden and make your own scene on the glass.
With greetings from Northiam, Sussex

Hallo Rob,

Philippe

Hi Rob,
Really funny title. Everybody that has been around for a while knows what is means. A very typical Alvaraalto shot. You have a very good eye for reflections of all kinds. This is a bit original since it actually is mirror this time that relflects the papagolfade, not water, a window or the like. Excellent picture TFS and have a nice weekend!
Cheers,
Ulf

Hi Rob,
Hilarious, but also very well composed. You are a really good observer and very good in finding these unusual POV's (and I am not talking only about the angle and framing). I wonder if there is a name for photos with cows, because this one also qualifies for that popular theme here. How surreal... :-)
Featherland... LOL!

José

Dag Rob,
Heel mooi gedaan, goed foto werk. Bedankt.
Prettige zondag,
John.

Damn fine idea to re-name the country! Did you write to Buckingham Palace to get the relevant permission??! ;D
You have the most amazing eye to seek out unusual places to find reflections. This could be either in a flea market or a junk shop. I love your sales line too --- you could even use it to make a self portrait next time you brush your hair! ;D

Hello Rob,
This is an imaginative shot Few people see a mirror as an effective a tool for photography as you do. I've learned to look at mirrors differently thanks to you.
Warm regards, Rob. Have a good weekend.
