Unloved and left to rot - the bow end of yet another abandoned old hulk of a fishing boat on the pebble beach at Dungeness, in Kent, England.

I like the way that you distil simple, minimalistic photos of subjects in any environment. I like the hint of low angled back lighting (sunlight) hitting beneath the top left rail and along the open edges or gaps in the planks top right.
As you now know I 'sneaked' through your part of the world at the end of May. I had a short window of opportunity (but Middle of the day) to visit Dungeness and appreciate the environment in which these hulks sit. Photographs from TE provided the impetus for me to visit here. I did notice that there had been a graffiti attack on at least one boat that is popular with photographers (possibly this boat). Some skill is now required to get a good image and avoid the graffiti.

A great close-up on this abandoned boat slowly being eaten away by the elements. The pale blue sky with its wispy clouds makes a good backdrop for the rotting timbers. Excellent rendering of the textures in the woodwork. Have a pleasant weekend.

unloved-but certainly not by photographers.
You were able to bring out here its whole beauty(even if time has taken a toll on it).
Superb close-up and upward perspective let the old boat looks timeless.
Have a nice weekend

Great photo to the theme "the passage of time", artistic shot with interesting frame, very well done

hi Brian, another excellent frame with the part of boat and this time the boat is ruined. Like the textures of the broken wooden parts, it provided graphism to it. Excellent shot. Tfs.

Effective tight framing withe good sharpness and superb warm cold colour contrasts between the blue sky and the rusty red streaks on the old bare wooden boat. Looks like the paint has long ago peeled away. A good upward pov with adequate sharpness. Tfs!
