Photographer's Note

So, the best thing about rain when you are trying to photograph something...the possibility of rainbows. Just back from a day at Dungeness, in Kent , England. It was blowing a gale as this faces onto the channel, and 3 degrees when the rain came through. There is shale beach with abandoned fishing huts and all manner of derelict boats, so a boat graveyard of sorts and very photographically interesting. I am very sure it has made it into TE a million times before. This one reminds me a bit of Noah's Ark......
I used two NDG filters and the sun was setting behind me.
About Dungeness...from Wikipedia
Dungeness is a headland on the coast of Kent, England, formed largely of a shingle beach in the form of a cuspate foreland. It shelters a large area of low-lying land, Romney Marsh. Dungeness is also the name of the power station and a few other nearby buildings near the beach, and of an important ecological site at the same location.
