This picture was taken from the board of Norfolk Lines vessel.
I'm going to Dunkerque, France and I have got a rare occasion to admire famous white cliffs of Dover.
Life is sometimes really surprising - you can see some places on TV or cinema, you can read about them in your books, then BANG!... and you can see everything in reality. :)

I appreciate this picture because, before the Channel Tunnel, this was a view experienced a large percentage of the population. Something we remember with fondness, but rarely seen in the media. You gave me, and I hope others, a great memory.

this picture is likeable. It is so clear that the boat is leaving the England.. It gives the sense of going away.
