[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was a field of rape we passed on a walk on the North Downs Way in Southeast England. I took loads of photos of them as they just captured every sense!

The original is slightly different, as this was actually up a hillside so for this version I rotated it to straighten the landscape. I think I like the straight one better, as the original looked skewed being on a tilt.

Here is another photoof these fields in my gallery.

The stark contrast between the yellow and blue is nice, but the green trees in the middle really make this scene work and make it very special. Nice stuff, Cora!

Hi Cora,
Great great colours, i like the low pov, it bring out this wonderfull yellow!

Regards,
Mario

Hi

I have been looking throw your posted photos and they are very nice. And this is one that I liked more.
Because its simplicity and beutifull colous.

Nice Work

Hi Cora

I like the warm cold opposition, between the blue & yellow. Excellent color, saturation, & lighting. Well done!

Hi Cora - you have some great colours here. I like the yellow flowers in the foreground and the small stand of dark trees is a good eyecatcher. Interesting sky too. I just wonder how the image would have looked with the horizon slightly lower so that it didn't bisect the frame in the middle.

This is a very beautiful image Cora.
a relaxing image, with that spring colors in the field and in the sky!
excellent composition, good light and point of view,
thanks, ciao

Nice vidid colours and I like the idea of the green island in the yellow sea.

Very nice colour composition Cora - I am thinking maybe just top slicing the sky to promote the stand of trees to the top left third might create a slightly stronger composition still - would work well as a panoramic too! Very nice!

take care - best wishes Kev

Hi, Cora.
A simple but effective composition. This evokes many memories for me, as I have tramped through many such fields while walking Britain's footpath system, which is unique in the world. Great contrast here and I believe you obtained the perfect degree of sharpness on the rapeseed without beoming grainy. Great shot.
John

Lovely photo Cora, the rapeseed is also known as Canola in other countries. The striking yellow flowers are a feature of spring. Thank you for the excellent image looking across the field. well done, Garry
