Hei Gianpiero, great point of view. Stood on the stairs, weren't you? The lines of the columns were well presented in an upright way, probably the could have been a little more light on the barrel-vault, strenghten the structure.
Do you own a tripod? Check it out with a closer aperture, slower shutter and neutral density filter (approx. 4x) to get rid off the tourists hangin' around. Usage of a handheld flashlight will lit up the arches.

Ottima prospettiva, manca pero' un po' di luce. Forse con un blocco dell'esposizione avresti ottenuto un risultato ottimale.
