Three views from the main mast of Belem : the poop, with the navigation room and the wheel.
As usual, if you do get on the yards (which was a bit too tricky an exercize for me at that time with a camera), you always have a lot of lines and ropes in your field of view...
Trois vues depuis le grand mât du Belem : la dunette, avec l'abri de navigation et la barre.
Comme d'habitude, lorsqu'on ne va pas sur les vergues (exercice qui était un peu difficile pour moi à l'époque avec un apapreil photo), il y a y toujours plein de manoeuvres courantes ou dormantes dans le champs.
Petite note :
manoeuvre courante = un cordage qui a vocation à bouger : un bras, une cargue, un hale-bas, une écoute, une drisse...
manoeuvre dormante = cordage fixe : un étai, un hauban...

Bonjour Emmanuel,
It really is difficult to take a shot with all those ropes around but it is an interesting place to be and to have such a nice view of the deck. I love the colours of the wood and certainly the experience of being up there. Well done!! Have a nice weekend.
