Photographer’s Note

This is another photo from my Compton Bay session on the 17th of March 2008.
After going for some wide angle shots, i decided to try and capture a photo of a small fishing boat bringing in its nets although the boat was at least 2 miles out to sea!
You can just about make out the sea birds flying around the boat too!
After taking a few shots, i realised that the clouds were breaking almost directly over the boat, its a shame though that the boat wasnt actually under the beam itself although i was hoping it would happen!

it seems you spend most of your life on the beach.
This is a brilliant moment of sky opening as though the rays were carefully aimed theatre lights. Great atnosphere.

WOW... amazing scene! The yellow bean against the dark clouds is heavenly and teh boat make the compo just perfect.
