Photographer's Note

I couldn't think of a decent name for this one!
I took this shot up on the top of Nunwell down which is part of Brading down on the Isle of Wight, and as it turned out, it was probably the most amazing dramatic sky i have ever seen in my life, there were only 2 flashes of lightning, one of which i captured using a lightning trigger.......a handy little gadget that i ordered from the US.
During the storm the sun stayed out the whole time making the Wheat glow a beautiful yellow/orange colour, as the sun got lower the wheat turned a deep red!
After this shot the storm moved closer and the sky changed colour to intense red with purple and blue, i will post the next photo in the sequence in a few days time.
I used a polarizer and nothing else.
