Photographer’s Note
This is my second picture on Trekearth. Thanks to all the people who critiqued my other photo. This picture was taken at Calshot beach near Fawley, opposite the isle of wight. The red shipping/beach sign is a target for beach pebbles by local children hence the chipped paint. The reason behind this picture - I was trying to capture beach huts without the full frontal beach hut photo thus incorporating the beach sign hoping to add foreground interest. Beautiful winters day - no polariser used just the 350D with the 18-55mm kit lens. I welcome your critiques and comments. Thanks for looking - Jeff

Hello, Jeff!
I rather like this one! The circular polariser has certainly worked a treat in darkening the sky and the picture certainly has impact. I also like the row of differently coloured beach huts at the bottom. Also, you have used up to the maximum of 800 pixels this time so the picture is big enough.
A good note too - explaining exactly what you did, how you did it and why.
Just one point I suppose - and we've pretty much all been a bit guilty of it (I've put photos of cars, etc. on this site) - I reckon that a picture like this would really be better suited to TrekLens - I don't know if you have an account there?
Well done!
Best Wishes,
John.
