Photographer’s Note
Another shot from my Southampton travelogue. This nice metal stairway is located near the Southampton marina. I like its four levels structure and the curious tissue parts that protect the last stages. Quality could be better but I only had my 2Mb venerable Ixus. There is a pole at the foreground and the only way I found to avoid it was to carefully choose my angle so it is superposed on the left part of the structure.
Tech: crop, levels/curves adj., and USM (enough ?)

Nice graphical impact Rudy in this shot of the stairway, with a lot of upward-leading lines and shapes. Even though your angle - as you explain in your note - was not 100% voluntarily chosen, it is quite effective. The colors and light are pretty well rendered as well, and my answer to your "enough" question would be "yes" ;-)

Bravo Rudy !
