Photographer’s Note

Part of the Southampton travelogue. This picture was taken in my hotel bathroom (Holiday Inn Express, I recommend it). I was quitely looking at the pictures I took on my venerable Ixus when I saw my reflect on this object you'll recognize.

A close up of a toilet paper
I notice the photographer in the reflection of the holder
In it disturbed me at first but when I studied it for a while I noticed he is sitting on the toilet what a great way to pas time

I love it: first I would never think about it, second the reflection in the metal is really good.

I wonder if cropping even more would work better - to get more of the reflection and just the side of the roll.

Cool macro! I wouldn't have thought about doing a picture with a simple thing like this... but actually, it's good because in some placed I've visited, toilet paper is hard to come by. Nice tribute I suppose.

For a 'small' camera, the pictures are extremely clear.
