bonjour Mika,

Amicalement,

Hello Mikael
I must say I find this very tall and narrow photo and framing works wonders to bring out the features of the spinnaker tower.
I only saw this tower while it was being erected so I didn't get the full perspective at the time, but I would imagine that a big scene involving all the surroundings would not be very fitting to portrait this stunning feat of engineering.
I also find your shot at the scene to be quite interesting, especially the wonderful gradient in the background sky helps to bring out the features and shape of the tower.
In one way it might be a little overexposed, not much but maybe only a step or so.
Also I feel there is a slight lack of focus in this scene. It is nothing big for me to put my finger on but the lack is there. To tell the truth I feel the boat in the foreground helps me as a viewer to notice this. Then again, it migth also just be the size of the photo that creates an effect.
Never the less I find it to be a great photo that focuses on showing off the the features of the spinnaker tower and not the rest of the harbour of Portsmouth.
Thank you for sharing.
Odd Jarle
