Photographer’s Note
Victoria Road South in Portsmouth.......this screening around a building - the no entry sign and this tiny bit of green attracted me and took me back to a lot of my slide work in the 70's - I was fascinated by colour....colour combinations.....shape and the relationship between these things and texture. It was a stones throw from this place that I caught the bug for photography ........so for old times sake........is England starting to become more colourful?
Where's the photographic evidence?

Thank you for this bold and refreshing combination of colors... Unfortunately, I notice that these sorts of abstract urban shots are not a popular thing on this site. I find they do tell a lot about what surrounds us and that the most mundane can have a hidden order and beauty...
Thank you and well done,
Thomas

Hi Kev,
Striking color contrast ... very simple composition but very effective. Well done.

Superb vivid color, Kev
Really exciting color composition. Simple stripes with red spot. So effective that I really can't take my eyes out of the picture.

RGB and yellow! There's nothing like a refreshing yellow to boost those primary colors, isn't it? Where's the passerby?

I agree with Luís that you could have done something interesting with a passer-by...
Not that this photo doesn't have interest as it is - you said it, the colors, the lines, the textures - but it does seem like a promising set up for other shots, with people in them...

This is very cool Kev, such great minimalism further enhanced with yuor own little creative touch of the 'no entry' sign. Personally I probably would have done something extra such as a passer by, but I'm still a fan of what you've done.

Hi Kevin.
I like very much how you played with these colours and with the vertical lines.
Well seen and thanks for sharing.

Good graphic realisation, I like the little green bit in the corner.
Time for beer (I'm back in the country for a week).

Hello Kev,
I appreciate how you took only a portion of the red circle and placed it at the upper left corner. I don't know, may there was something which annoyed you on the left, but you managed to get rid of it, and it's good looking now. You certainly know that I am fond of these graphics.
Keep being well - Izzet
