[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These beautiful red squirrels are very rare in the United Kingdom, having been almost wiped out by the larger common grey squirrel. On the Isle of Wight, in some parts, they thrive. This one had developed a taste for Walnuts, in a resident's garden. They flip the lid of the box, grab the nuts and scarper into the trees to munch and chuck the shells at anything that happens to be sitting under the tree at the time!

Je suis étonné que cette photo ne soit pas plus nette et plus contrastée (j'ai essayé de travailler votre photo avec divers logiciels, avec de bons résultats). Votre livre de photos nous a habitué à de très bonnes prises de vue.
I am astonished that this photograph clearer and is not contrasted (I tried to work your photograph with various software, with good results). Your book of photographs accustomed us to very good catches of sight.

Nice picture, and good choice for the title =)

Good pose for a difficult wild capture , but does seem a little fuzzy, maybe unsharp mask will help?
Still like the little red beasts though also can be seen in the Lakedistrict still

This is beautiful, the colors and the fact that the squirrel is almost looking at you.

This is a real quit litle fellow and hard to catch since they move so fast. One second they are in front of you and the next they have disapeard up the tree.
I made a WS to enhance the colours and the eyes.

Great. You have to be a bit of a wizard to make these creatures approach you so closely. And I know how difficult it is to photograph them, because they are so quick. Thank you

A beautiful picture. I feel like I can almost touch the fluffy beast. Good detail in the face but with the tail appropriately thrown out of focus. This guy (gal?) is is the most wonderful colour. Thanks for posting (sorry I'm a bit late catching up on it!)
