Hi John,
Nice idea but ... I would have not kept such a big black/dark area at the bottom of the picture. Maybe a higher framing could have shown the entire tree (on the right), on the other hand the sun might be a bit lower on the vertical of the photo, but still it would have all readers attention because of the contrast it produces ...
Right in front of the sun, that's a difficult exercice and lots of cameras can't make correct measurment ... which does not help.

Hi John,
Again, this is a really nice scene and, in my opinion, you've captured it well but, in my opinion, it's slightly let down with the way you've framed it. It think that less black at the bottom of the image would be an improvement but, other than that, it looks good. Thanks for sharing! I think you might like some of my sunset photos as well........ ;)
Again, including some text to describe it would be nice.
