Photographer’s Note

Not sure about this one. Would appreciate your comments. The light was lovely but I tried shooting into the light to capture it, knowing that its a bit risky. As a result the shot is quite dark, but I kind of like that. Im a bit undecided so would appreciate your views.

Surely not too dark !
I like this beautiful composition; tree in the left over aginst these splendid clouds-construction, nice greeny foreground and of course, the wonderful foggy landscape. So, great picture Adam, be proud of it, you've made this one !

Well it works pretty well for me you know.
You managed perfectly this shot against the sun; the foreground plants benefit from it, and the tree turns into a sharp silhouette that stands out in the sky.
If I want to be picky, i'd say a lower angle would have put the tree above the horizon, but maybe then you'd have lost the view on the misty valley.
Very well done !

In fact, it is very nice shot. Added of my fav. The composition and lighting are just perfect. But the mist really makes the shot. It creates a mysterious feel.

Absolument féérique cette lumière. L'idée, risquée, est cependant excellente quant au résulat. La brume sur les terres au loin et la lumière sur les fougères à l'avant sont superbes. Félicitations ! J'aime beaucoup.

perfect exposure, great composition - the dramatic sky completes it. I love it, bet it looks fab in Black and White too.

i don't usually like images of nature. but what you've captured, each moment, each space, each sunset, colours, skies, clouds..is just perfect. your images are truly inspiring, i am really very envious of you. this image is my favourite. reminds me a little bit of life. :)

Your photo is great! the colours are absolutely fantastic. The light behind the tree is perfect and I love his reflect on the foreground. It's a beautiful landscape.
