Photographer’s Note

Taken today in East Meon, Hampshire, a beautiful day with a cloudless sky.
East meon is where my mother grew up, the village dates to about 1150 ad.
Circular polariser was used.

Gorgeous spring scene! I like the idea of stressing the season by giving equal attention to the flowers and the church. Great DOF, even back to the hill beyond the church. We here in Ontario are still 2 months away from this, but you give us hope! Lovely!

Marvellous picture! Good use of the polariser, which makes the colour of the sky very attractive and makes the church stand out very well. The DoF is really good, having sharpness on both the flowers in the foreground and the church in the background. Very nice work.
