[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I think this is the last one I will post from Lower Wood. Time to move on:-) Bob Garrigus (rgarrigus) actually spotted this opportunity and I ripped it off. The background is a bti more cluttered than I would like but I am loathe to 'photoshop' the stray branches out. I think that would be cheating.

Anyway, I have tweaked the colours a little. Still don;t understand how to tweak RAW images but I liked these colours. Not sure if it is too much or not. Oh, and I've put on a MUCH smaller frame:-))))))))

All critiques most welcome. Come on folks, help me out. Is it good, or bad? What can be improved?

Cheers

Hi Graeme,

Lots of good in this picture starting with the color. Nice rich greens and the bluebells stand out nicely. This frame is much simpler and serves it's purpose - keeping the eye on your picture. I think you got the best out of the composition here as well (better than mine) but I agree with you that the background has a lot of stray branches that distract. I think the approach you took with Sea of Green was the best by totally cropping out any of the distraction.

I went back here last night and just couldn't find anything better. I walked around some of the other bits of the Wood but the area is just a bit too swampy. Maybe Forest of Dean has something for us a little less brambly.

Cheers!

Bob G.
