[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Lower Wood is a fragment of typical ancient woodland with flourishing populations of woodland flora. Bluebells, oxlips and early-purple orchids provide a vibrant display in spring.

I really liked this view with a path leading to bluebells in the distance.

I used a Circular Polariser to try to bring out the colours.

I'll be posting another couple of shots to do with bluebells so check them out.

As always, all critiques welcome, good or bad:-)

A nice image of nature...

Hello Graeme!

Nice picture of English (swampy?) forest!

Good composition, but I think it would be better to sharpen the image.

Regards,
Igor

Graeme,

Your's all turned out better than mine on this trip starting with this one. This has all the constructs - nice leading lines, interesting foreground, nicely off-centered horizon and an interesting background. The sharpening advice is spot on though as any time you resize an image and especially when converting to JPEG you'll need to sharpen it at least a little. I throw in a workshop.

Cheers!

Bob G.
