This is a photo of a tall ship in the docks in Gloucester. As most of tall ships pictures attempt to show how tall they are! I decided to take a shot at the "ground level". Tall ships theme are becoming an annual event in Gloucester.

Excellent framing very well selcetd. The attitude of the man is very well collected too.Nice harmony in the colors too with the red element which arise well.

An interesting close-up of a kind that - as you mention - is rarely seen. I like your POV and appreciate the tidiness of the clean wood and the carefully collected ropes.
