Photographer's Note

A dead tree but still large and standing on a hill side on a hill near Gloucester City. I think this tree need a close look but I would need to do some trespassing!

Hello Aleks,
You have been a bit heavy on the PP, but what a tree this is. I understand why you took this picture and B&W was definitely the right option. There is a good greyscale on the tree itself but I'm not too keen on those halos around it.

Je trouve que cette photo en noir et blanc a un charme particulier, certes c'est un arbre mort, mais il garde son élégance avec le cadrage que tu as choisi pour le mettre en valeur

I must agree with Gert that the heavy PP takes away from the photo somewhat. Nice subject, presented in a good format with nice framing, but its glow detracts from the overall quality.

Hi Aleks

The tree was really interesrting, but you missed your post processing trying to darken the sky. It's too evident and so not natural.

I find your picture absolutely not bad, nevertheless the black and white image.
This is almost an artwork or a drawing.
Sharpness and clarity are wonderful.
Excellent composition, good presentation, TFS.
